Simple Ways to Finding Inner Peace
After searching through many articles to find the best practices for finding inner peace, I found one that gives eight simple steps for enhancing a tranquil mindset in your life. Based on my lifestyle of always being on overdrive and moving so quickly, these simple practices below will help me be more mindful and relaxed in my daily life. My goal with presenting this list is that you all will try to incorporate 2-4 of these practices in their daily life and turn these into habits. Personally, my goal is to use one practice a week and make it my focus for that week. After each week I will be making a post updating you all about the pros and cons to the practice, how to incorporate the practice into daily life, and how the practice personally helped me. The eight practices are listed below with a link to the article I found. Good luck to everyone on finding ways to live a more tranquil life! I am so excited to hear from you all on which practices worked best for you. Enjoy the journey and adventure of discovering your tranquility.
1. Practice acceptance
2. Listening to soothing sounds
3. Get outside
4. Smile
5. Volunteer
6. Affirmations
7. Show gratitude
8. Keep breathing

I love reading about and trying new ways to feel peaceful and more at ease, especially during a busy semester. This is a great list of things to try and I am definitely going to put a few of these to the test when things get stressful during midterms.
ReplyDeleteI like how you listed the ways to finding inner peace clearly.
ReplyDeleteI will be able to remember them after I read it and will make it easier to keep them in mind from now on. Also, all of them are not too hard to do in daily life, so I will try to find time to try them out.
I love your insight! I also like how you suggested that we only do 2-4 per week so we are not overwhelmed. I find that exercise, waking up early and being outside help me to find inner peace, I really want to incorporate some of your suggestions to my own routine.
