Affirmations: Speaking and Believing

I am so sorry it took me so long to get my post about affirmations to you guys but a lot has been happening in my life. I have been getting more in touch with spirituality and living life which had me busy but I am here now. I'll be sharing a lot with you in the next few posts about my past couple weeks but in this let's talk about affirmations. First thing I did before looking at affirmations was understanding the definition of affirmation which is defined as the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed. With understanding the definition, affirmations need to be worded as something you are gaining/ have currently. For example if you want to be rich, you don't say I am going to be rich rather you would say I am working to have financial abundance. These past couple weeks I have been searching for affirmations that can best help me have a more positive and relaxed mindset on life. 

After I was able to find affirmations that help boost my overall energy in life I began to form a habit of sitting in the mirror and saying them while I get ready. I also noticed that I would say them before bed in my head. I also started using affirmations with my friends when trying to manifest something happening. My top ten favorite affirmations I came across in this journey of discovering how they can affect your life are the following:

  1. My body is healthy; my mind is brilliant; my soul is tranquil.

  2. I possess all the qualities needed to be extremely successful.

  3. I attract positive and loving people into my life

  4. I radiate confidence

  5. My life is a place of balance and harmony

  6. I prioritize and practice self-care on a daily basis.

  7. I deserve to live a happy and healthy life.

  8. I am a living, breathing reflection of all of the beauty the earth contains

  9. I conquer anything and everything that comes to my way

  10. I am exactly where I need to be today

When I would say these affirmations I made sure I said them with the energy that I believed what I was saying which is why the first week of doing them I thought it was weird. In two weeks I felt more confident in what I was saying and believed what I was saying. This caused me to have more confidence and faith in myself. This also made me realize how you think about things and say things can have a big effect on the attitude and energy you are attracting. I have noticed a lighter energy with my attitude about things. I have also noticed that my mindset is more positive and optimistic. Overall this experience has been amazing and I will be continuing doing affirmations as well as you all should give me a try. I believe they take more time but have a greater effect on your overall life. I hope you all give them a try. There are so many different affirmations in the world.
