Show Gratitude Always

This past week, I have been on spring break in Jacksonville, Florida withe six of my best friends. While being down there I realized so many things that I want for my future and just truthfully was enjoying my life. Well being down the I was making a gratitude list. This was making me realize and notice things I normally wouldn't. I was being mindful of the things that seem to bring ease and joy to my days and would add it to the list. I was seeing common things on my gratitude list and having more appreciation for small things. The top ten common things I had on my gratitude list through the course of spring break are listed below:

  1. I am grateful to be able to have personal freedom to do whatever I want and see whatever I want.

  2. I am grateful to have my family and friends support throughout the week with finances and helping have a great time.

  3. I am grateful I had time to grow my spiritual connection and recharge my energy.

  4. I am grateful to be able to see the sunset and sunrise.

  5. I am grateful to have my body which allows me to move confidently through the world.

  6. I am grateful to have so many opportunities to grow and learn from others.

  7. I am grateful for the positive attitude and experience I give to others and receive from others.

  8. I am grateful for the safety and protection I'm receiving from the universe.

  9. I am grateful to present opportunities that will help shape the future.

  10.  I am grateful for the life I am living.

These are some of the common things I was writing my gratitude list for this past week. I was noticing more positive things and was mindful of the things in my life that bring me joy. I felt very free over the week and felt a real hope for planning my future after graduation. Also, I don’t know if any of you noticed but I wrote my gratitude list in the affirmation  style which is cool since I have been working withem at the same time. Hehehe I am such a dork over this journey i'm on to find inner peace because I am starting to realize they all relate to one another. I am curious if you have ever kept a gratitude journal and how you manage to fit it into your schedule if you have tips. Just have been struggling to find time now that I am back from vacation. Let me know if you have suggestions for the best time to journal because I need some suggestions. Also, look forward to hearing how your journey is going, discovering different ways to create a more tranquil life.
