Cleanse Your Space; Cleanse Your Energy
Hi Tranquil Lifers!
This week I took time to clean my college home and organize, since in a few weeks I am going to have to move out. While cleaning out my houseI realized that I gained twice as many things that came with me, so I started getting rid of stuff I haven't used the whole time I was at college. I also started organizing my clothes of the one I wear and the one I do not so I could start packing them in my car. This is going to make it easier when it comes time to move out completely in a few weeks. After decluttering my room I felt better about the energy of the room and my overall energy improved. Once I moved something out that I didn't need I started wiping down everything and vacuuming. We also mopped the living spaces and cleaned out the joint living space. This overall helped raise the atmosphere and made it nicer to hangout in. I highly recommend cleaning out your room and deep cleaning those spaces that need it most. It's very therapeutic and highly recommended to anyone that's feeling down or in funk to do this. With our goal of living a tranquil life I promise it will help with that and over all easing your mind knowing there are a couple less things to worry about. Let me know if you do this to help cleanse your energy or if you have other ideas how to. I hope you all are enjoying your journey of discovering how to live a tranquil life. Can't wait for next week. I'll be posting about this volunteering opportunity and why volunteering helps with finding inner peace and living a tranquil life.
I definitely am guilty of having a messier room when I am in a depressive state or having a hard time in other aspects of life. It takes me a great amount of motivation, but once I make myself clean my room or my surrounding area I do feel a lot better. A clean space can definitely help organize your mind, and it was great to hear your opinion on this! I Even though it is a challenge to make myself clean up when I am not in a great mindset, I need to remind myself that I will ultimately feel a lot better.
ReplyDeleteHi Chelsea! I think that organizing and cleaning is a great stress reliever in my opinion. When I am too busy, I tend to not create too much of a "clean" and "organized" space for myself. However, I do believe that when I clean and give myself an organized space to work with, I am more productive!
